EEI, as an international non-profit organization, is not affiliated with any political party or public institution. It welcomes private contributions to its activities and EEI membership is open to individuals as well as corporations and other legal entities.

The EEI neither solicits nor accepts donations on an expressed or implied condition of donor control or influence over the substance, content or direction of any EEI work, statement, program or other product.

However, the EEI will respect donor requests to dedicate or earmark a contribution for the purpose of supporting one of its areas of policy analysis and education, issue-management or other discipline that EEI is pursuing consistent with its Mission Statement, articles and by laws consistent with above stated principle.
