Rok Spruk
Rok Spruk is an economist specialized in macroeconomics and international economics. His research topics include real convergence, monetary and fiscal policy, financial macroeconomics, transition in Eastern Europe, human capital and labor market, knowledge spillovers and innovation. An important part of his research is macroeconomic crises and stabilization in emerging markets. He has written research papers for India Economy Review and published shorter pieces and op-eds on macroeconomic and microeconomic issues in Slovenian newspapers. Currently, his research is focused on empirical methods in macroeconomics, recessionary expectations in financial crises, game theory in political economy and on economic gap between the U.S and Europe.
