Europe is old, over-regulated and sliding behind not only the US but also China and India. This is what we are used to hearing, and it has been true. But Europe has changed. It has been the world's leading reform area in recent years. A single market with 500 million consumers has been created.
In the new book Yes, Europe Can!, published by the European Enterprise Institute, Stefan Fölster and Johnny Munkhammar argue that the changes have been underestimated. They show how Europe should be set for comeback as we leave the recession.
