Biography:
Fabian Wallen is a senior economic advisor for the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, where he analyses questions related to economic growth. His area of expertise concerns the globalization process and policy implications for the Swedish economy. Currently he is writing a book on the negative effects of the redistributive policies of the welfare state. Mr Wallen is also the Chief Economist for the International Council of Swedish Industry. In this role he has been engaged in a number of projects, including an industrial development project in North Korea and a project related to economic development in Belarus. Former jobs include Macro Analyst for the Federation of Swedish Industries, and lecturer in Economics at the University of Stockholm. He holds a Ms.C in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Stockholm.
